Year 11 Leavers' Ceremony
The Year 11 Leavers’ Assembly 2024 signalled another academic year nearly done and dusted. On Friday 21 June 2024, after much shirt-signing before and after the event, we bid a fond farewell to current Year 11 pupils and wished them well for the future. The ceremony has become a staple of the school calendar and is intended to act as a ‘thank-you’ for efforts and contributions to #TeamTâf over the last five years. The event was well attended by friends and relatives of many Year 11 pupils.
Every pupil given the now obligatory, glossy Yearbook, a nice keepsake to browse and ponder upon for years to come! Certificates and awards highlighting achievement and key personal qualities were presented enthusiastically by Year 11 Director of Learning, Mr Nicholas C Jones, proud custodian of our current batch of Year 11 pupils.
The Dominic Gubb Award, a tribute to one of Afon Tâf’s most talented past-educators and mentors was awarded to Lia. Warmest congratulations to her.
