Introduction to Technologies Faculty
The Technologies Faculty covers a wide range of subjects at both GCSE and Vocational level. Lessons are delivered in specialist workshops and dedicated ICT or CAD/CAM suites. Rooms are equipped with machinery and equipment such as laser cutters,
3-D printers, dye sublimation printers and heavy duty workshop machinery such as Centre Lathes and Vertical Milling machines. Pupils are able to complete cross-curricular projects using ClassVR virtual and augmented reality headsets and Lego Mindstorms robotics kits.
