Introduction to Technologies Faculty
The Technologies Faculty covers a wide range of subjects at both GCSE and Vocational level. Lessons are delivered in specialist workshops and dedicated ICT or CAD/CAM suites. Rooms are equipped with machinery and equipment such as laser cutters, 3D printers, dye sublimation printers and heavy duty workshop machinery such as Centre Lathes and Vertical Milling machines. Pupils are able to complete cross-curricular projects using ClassVR virtual and augmented reality headsets and Lego Mindstorms robotics kits.

Pupils that are outstanding across all technology subjects are selected for the
General Dynamics prize. This is awarded to the top pupil in each Year group and they receive £200 in shopping vouchers. Pupils are selected based on effort and attainment.
