SPEAKERS FOR SCHOOLS

Some of our Year 11 pupils were treated to a talk by a representative from
'Speakers for Schools' on Monday 18 November 2024.

Sir Martin Donnelly, KCB CMG, is a former Permanent Secretary of UK Business and Trade departments; and a former Managing Director of Boeing UK. Sir Martin gave an extremely engaging and informative talk on how to make best use of opportunities as, and when they come along.  His sage advice illustrated and recollected from personal experiences.

An enjoyable and informative 'question and answer' session gave further valuable, and relevant information to our Year 11 students. Sir Martin even brought along his Knighthood regalia to show our pupils.

We hope Sir Martin enjoyed his visit to Afon Tâf as much as we enjoyed having him here!
